William Carey, the father of modern missions once said to his best friend Andrew Fuller before leaving for India, “I will go down the pit if you hold the rope.” Fuller took the role as the president of the Baptist Missionary Society and held the rope for Carey. Fuller travelled through the British Isles to preach about the importance of mission and to raise funds to support Carey’s mission. Today, I invite you to be part of this dream in nurturing servant leaders for God’s kingdom. This dream can only be continued if CCST Vancouver would have faithful friends like how Fuller was to Carey.
