Speaker Profile and Stdent testimony overview:

Rev. Dr. Aaron Tang: D.Min., Fuller Theological Seminary, Dip.C.S., M.Div., Regent College, Dip.Econ., Hong Kong Baptist College

Rev. Dr. Aaron Tang has over 35 years of pastoral and ministry experience in North America. He earned his Master of Divinity from Regent College in Canada and his Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary in the United States. He previously served as the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Alliance Church of Ottawa, the General Director of Christian Communication Inc. of Canada (CCIC), and the Executive Director of the Canadian Chinese Alliance Churches Association. He currently serves as Volunteer General Secretary of the Chinese Alliance World Fellowship, and the Director of Development and Church Relations (volunteer) at the Canadian Chinese School of Theology Vancouver.

Xin Li:

While Xin Li was studying abroad in Canada, she was diagnosed with severe cancer. However, it was through this she received God’s help from church and heard the message of the gospel. In God's hands, her pride was broken, and she came to faith in Christ. By God’s abundant grace, she has walked a wondrous path, which she is undergoing medical treatment while simultaneously studying at seminary to seek and know Him more deeply.

Angus:

Angus grew up in a Christian family. Although he strayed and felt lost during his youth, he thanked God for never giving up on him. Later, God led him to Australia to study where he discovered his passion for design. God rebuilt his faith—transforming the "secondhand faith" into a deeply personal, genuine, and rooted faith of his own. It was also during his university years that he received the calling to full-time ministry.

After eight years of prayer and waiting, Angus thanked God for guiding him step-by-step onto the path of theological training at CCST Vancouver. Throughout this journey, he gained far more than just theological knowledge. He also learned how to be a faithful pastor, who steps into people's lives to serve and walk alongside them in Christ's love. His hope is to become a pastor who is ready to listen, walk with others, and witness God's grace in people’s lives.
